MacShield product branding, website copy, website layout, original screenshots, original app assets, and project-specific documentation are owned by Vivek W (AryanVBW), unless a file, dependency, or upstream project states a different owner.
Open-source license
Source code in the repository is intended to be distributed under the MIT License unless otherwise stated. Third-party dependencies remain governed by their own licenses and terms. Preserve license notices, copyright notices, and attribution when copying or redistributing code.
Third-party rights
MacShield depends on projects and platforms owned by others, including MakLock, Sparkle, HotKey, Apple frameworks, Chrome Extension APIs, Web Crypto, and WebAuthn. Their names, marks, and code remain the property of their respective owners.
Trademarks
MacShield is a project name used by its owner. Apple, macOS, Touch ID, Apple Watch, Chrome, and other third-party names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. References are descriptive and do not imply endorsement.
